There are several good options to choose from which will help regulate your body temperature and contribute to you sleeping better for longer.
Breathable and lightweight
To complete the set, a new bundle of quality breathable bedding is essential when buying a new bed and mattress, especially if you're after a breathable sleep experience. Natural wool is great at wicking away excess moisture close to our bodies and light fluffy feather and down can aerate and cool the area around you as you sleep, making sure your body is kept at an even temperature and you don't overheat as you slumber. It goes without saying all options come with a wide variety of tog weights.
Tog ratings
There is a wide variety of tog ratings to choose from depending on the time of year and how hot (or cold) you sleep. It's an important factor to consider. Ratings from as little as 1 up to 9 are lighter duvets and generally suitable for the warmer months of the year (or year-round for hot sleepers). A rating of 9 to 12 are considered great for use all year round or in those slightly chillier seasons and are considered medium warmth. Tog ratings of up to and including 13.5 are ideal for the winter nights and are the warmest you can buy.
